The 58th annual Elk Grove Western Festival celebrating this
years theme Boots, Buckles & B-B-Q. Join us for a weekend
filled with fun and excitement and help us celebrate the 2nd annual Elk Grove Western Festival & BBQ Championship brought to Elk Grove courtesy
of the Kansas City BBQ Society.
WHEN? Saturday May 2nd - Sunday May 3rd
WHERE? At the Elk Grove Regional Park
The festivities begin with the Western Festival Parade on Saturday, starting at
10:00 AM. The Parade starts in Old Elk Grove and ends at the Elk Grove High School
All parade entries will be judged on their ability to convey visions of Boots, Buckles,
and the Old West. Judges will be looking for creative interpretation of this year's
theme Boots, Buckles & B-B-Q.
Come and join us for two days of family fun and excitement at Elk
Grove Regional Park. It will be a weekend filled with wonderful entertainment,
great food, classic cars, art exhibition showing the talents of you local High School
Students, the Kid's Zone, Crafter's and our fabulous carnival of fun.
Come and join us on Saturday May 2nd from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Elk Grove Western Festival Main Stage for a
special evening concert featuring Phil Wickham and Rachel Steel.
The Elk Grove Western Festival 2015 Poster Contest is open to all high school junior
and senior students in the EGUSD. The 58th annual festival will be held May 2nd
– May 3rd and the theme will be “Boots, Buckles & BBQ.”
The winning entry will be used
in the Festival’s marketing/advertising campaign. The three winning entries will be
displayed at the Elk Grove Fine Arts Center, 9080 Elk Grove Blvd. in Old Town Elk Grove
and during the Festival Saturday, May 2nd & Sunday, May 3rd from 10am-5pm, at the Elk Grove
Community Art Show in the Elk Grove Regional Park Pavilion.
Arrangements will be made for artwork to be picked up by students. Please invite your
family and friends to these two free shows. All entries become the property of the EGWF organization.
The poster entry must be submitted by DEADLINE of Friday, February 27th
